The Law of Reflection: What It Is & How It Works
January 17 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pmFree
The Law of Reflection can be distilled down to this one idea: Your interpretation of the world around you is a direct reflection of what’s inside you. Psychologist Carl Jung eluded to it when he said, “Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.” Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius touched on it centuries earlier when he encouraged us to ask, “What fault of mine most nearly resembles the one I am about to criticize?”
During my healing journey through anxiety, I realized if these negative perspectives were true, then the opposite must also be true. Everything we love and admire in others sheds light on what’s already inside us. The Law of Reflection holds that our thoughts are a natural extension of our perspective. Therefore, it is our perspective, not our thoughts, that shape our reality. When we shift our perspective, our thoughts naturally evolve to reveal the wisdom and clarity that has been inside us all along.
Come discover more about this enlightening concept and leave with a whole new perspective of yourself, other people, and your current circumstances! Love donations gratefully accepted.
