Book Study: The Little Prince, by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
May 11, 2017 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm$10
Due to the overwhelming popularity of my winter book study groups, I’ve been asked to put together some less intensive, but equally rewarding opportunities for the spring and summer. Although all these books can be read in a weekend, make no mistake, they are full of valuable lessons and incredible new perspectives on life.
Here are the confirmed dates and book titles (all classes will be held at the Center for Spiritual Growth office sitting room):
May 11th, 7-9pm
The Little Prince, by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
(with additional recommendation of watching the beautifully animated movie on Netflix)
June 15th, 7-9pm
Gift from the Sea, by Anne Morrow Lindbergh
July 13th, 7-9pm
Man’s Search for Meaning, by Viktor Frankl
Each class will be open to 10-12 people, so please be sure to register soon! Email your name and the dates you plan to attend to firstname.lastname@example.org. All three books should be readily available for free at local libraries, as well as for sale locally and online. You should be able to pick up a used copy on Amazon for just a few dollars.
Come to class on the scheduled date having already read the entire book. Our main focus will be on extracting the wisdom each book offers and reflecting on how it applies in your own life. I’ll be there in a coaching capacity to facilitate the conversation and help you connect this wisdom to your own experiences.
Location information: The Center for Spiritual Growth is located in Southfield Village at 6450 Miami Circle (off Miami Rd just south of Kern Rd). Parking is in the main circle drive in front of the large white Community Center. When you enter the building, head to the second floor (stairs or elevator). The conference room is down the hall to the left of the large rock and stained glass wall.
